Welcome, I’m Charlie Griffey, owner of Griffey & Associates. Founded in 1991, we are a full service remodeling company that provides professional custom services. I personally have 13 years of hands on experience in the building and remodeling industry. I credit a majority of the companies success to my team of talented carpenters who are dedicated to provide complete customer satisfaction. All employees are full time and some have been with the company since day one. All employees have different areas of expertise to handle all aspects of any remodeling project. Together we bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to each project we undertake.
Some of today’s remodeling companies are owned by salespersons who have no hands on experience and totally rely on subcontractors to perform the work for them. At Griffey & Associates, we perform the work ourselves. I personally attend all initial consultations and I am out in the field performing the work which lets me know exactly what materials are required and how long a particular project will take. This allows for better customer relations. Together, we don’t have to worry about who is going to be working at your home. The results are a better job, at a competitive price and another satisfied customer. At Griffey & Associates, we handle both design and construction, which means the homeowner will enjoy a greater continuity of service. The design/build concept proves to provide the best understanding of how each detail will come together.
We provide a computer aided design on most of our projects at no additional charge. This allows you, the homeowner to see the project in 3D before the work begins. The design/build process will minimize the chance of costly and time consuming surprises once the project begins, because the work is centralized in one firm. Written specifications and working drawings are two of the most important documents for a construction project; they are inseparable. One without the other would not be complete because constant references must be made from one to the other. That is why on all of our projects the homeowner will receive a job folder containing a construction drawing with detailed job specifications. No hidden surprises. Included in the job folder is proof of insurance and a workers compensation certificate.
Griffey & Associates is a licensed general contractor in all cities surrounding Columbus, Ohio.
